Naples Adventure

Naples with kids, taken slow

We went to Naples as a family and quickly realized it's a city you experience, not control. It was loud, busy, and full of energy, but also incredibly warm and welcoming. We took things slowly, stopped often, ate great food, and let the kids absorb the street life. Naples felt chaotic at times, but deeply human and unforgettable.

What We Loved

  • Street life everywhere – scooters, voices, laundry lines, and kids watching the city unfold
  • Pizza nights that felt like events – simple, delicious, and loved by everyone
  • Short walks, frequent stops – cafés, pastries, and small squares that broke up the day
  • Warm interactions – locals were patient, curious, and kind toward our kids
  • History at street level – ruins, churches, and stories woven into daily life
